The ceremony took place in the
garden at Wirelawn. The weeding aisle was formed by white five foot standards topped witfc plumes of fresh boxwood, held together by white satin ribbonfe and gardenias, forming a hexatgon around the lily pool and proceeding on to the sanctuary which served as an altar. Music was by Sidney.
The bride’s gown in deep oys*ter satin was of traditional lines with a long court train. Heirloom Alencon lace formed the two-tier veil cascading from the center back. The shoulder veil fell from an Alencon coronet which contained the same lace. The bride’s bouquet was composed of Phalaenopsis orchids centered by green orchids with showers of stephanotis. The maid of honor wore a deep burnish gold satin ankle length gown with crescent shaped yellow roses as her bouquet. The bridesmaids’ short gowns were of deep gold satin, and their hats wer^ burnished gold veils over velvet coronets. Their flowers were mojave roses. The train bearers and ring bearer wore deep gold velvet mid calf dresses over white ruffled pantaloons with poked bonnets lined with moss green ostrich tips.
