HARRISON POWERS
Harrison Powers of the Rappahannock County chapter was elected President of the Northern Triangle Federation of Future Fanners of America in a lively election October 8 at the Clarke bounty High School.
Northern Triangle Federation is composed of FFA chapters of Loudoun, Clarke, Frederick, Warren and Rappahannock counties and is organized to further the activities of FFA in this l area. There are some eight contests sponsored by the Federation involving many phases of farm activity. This year it is hoped that Rappahannock will play host to the Livestock Judging contest which will be held in the spring.
Other business to come before the meeting was awarding of a plaque to James Wood chapter for having accumulated the highest number of points during the past year. Points are awarded on the basis of participation and showing in the various meetings and contests held.
