Mrs. Willard Jenkins of Manassas spent a week with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jenkins, Mrs. Jenkins is recuperating from recent surgery at Fairfax Hospital. Her daughter Kelly spent some time here while her mother was hospitalised.
Mr. and Mrs. George H. Neal of Sonora, Texas, were the guests of the Stewart H. Butler's at Haven Hill from Sept. 26 through Oct. 2. They came up to Atlantic. City to attend the American Banker’s Convention and stayed oVer at the Butlers following the convention. Mr.rand Mrs. Butler took them sightseeing at Williamsburg, Natural Bridge and at Montecello in Charlottesville and then accompanied them to Friendship Airport for then- return home. Lt. Col. and Mrs. Frank McCahill of Valley Stream, N. Y. were dinner guests on Sept. 27, they were enroute home from a- vacation in Tampa, Florida.
Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Smooth and family of Gordonsville, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Kennedy and daughters Peggy and Joyce Ann of Culpeper and Weston Kennedy of Fairfax were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Kennedy.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Racer, Mrs. Conner Jenkins, and Mrs. Roy Atkins of Sperryville were in Fairfax on Friday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins and daughter Peggy.
