NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Sections 29-125 and 29126 of the Codeij of Virginia, the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries, meeting at Richmond, Virginia, October 8, 1962, ordered the proposed changes in its rules and will hold a Public Hearing for the purpose of adopting these proposed rules at Room 100, 7 North Second Street, Richmond, Virginia, 9:30 a. m., December 1, 1062.
There shall be a continuous open season for taking trout in any Commission authorized commercially operated fishing ponds without creel or hour restrictions. The operator shall be required to furnish each fisherman a bill of sale, including the name of fisherman, date, species, and number of trout creeled. The fisherman shall retain this bill of sale as long as the fish are in his possession and a duplicate shall remain with the operator and be made available for inspection by all authorized Commission personnel.
Amend Regulation 75 to read as follows: It shall be lawful to use trot lines or set poles statewide, with the exception of stocked trout waters, for the purpose of taking non-game fish and turtles, provided no live bait is used.
