No doubt we bed record breaking temperatures last week, for October that is. Low reading on the weather bureau recording thermomter last Thursday morning was 22 degrees. No wonder there were some ‘changes’ made!
Five of our farmers are entering feeder pigs in the November 20th sale scheduled at Culpeper Enterprises. Dr. Graves reported vaccinating the number head indicated for Jim Massie, 20, Tom Lee, 25, Mrs. Alice Wood, 19, Joe D. Keyser, 11 and Jim Yates, 31.
Signs indicate this will be one of the largest sales ever. According to Jim Massie, around 700 head have been nominated. Also Mr. Massie reported around three buyers bought all offered in the last sale. On one occasion one buyer called the
