A competent and faithful public official is an asset to any community. It is fitting: that the citizens from time to time should recognize this fact and express their appreciation, particularly when the time arrives for retirement.
We wish to record our gratitude and deep appreciation to our neighbor and good friend, James M. Settle, for his long and faithful services, always pleasantly rendered, as he reaches a well-earned retirement status, and to wish and pray for him and his good wife years of health and happiness ahead. We are confident that many others fed the same way.
