I have observed that the people who really accomplish things are those who have discovered some technique of relaxation. This does not mean that they think of life as being easy. It does not mean a blithe unconcern with the world. It means that their powers are synchronized with the power of Almighty God so that they function efficiently with relaxed power.
I often like to think of Jesus Christ stilling the storm on the sea, but above all, I love to remember that our Lord spoke to the disciples’ hearts, saying, “Peace be still!”
For a Christian the choice is not between burning out or rusting out; it is not a choice between complete activity and complete inactivity. Complete activity will burn one out indeed, but complete inactivity would be a worse fate. Wisdom consists
