Having had a number of years experience in the planning, development and early results of our losal Mountain Run Watershed development project, Ragsdale was in a position to impart some rather interesting facts to his fellow conservationists, said L. B. Henretty, Culpeper Soil Conservationist.
Other than being a local Soil Conservation District Supervisor, Mr. Ragsdale is a member of the Virginia State Soil Conservation Committee, a member of the Resource Conservation advisory council to the Secretary of Agriculture, Orville L. Freeman, and past president of the Virginia Association of Soil Conservation District Supervisors.
Others attending the Philadelphia conference included Mrs. Ragsdale, Giles H. Miller, Jr., president Culpeper National Bank, and L. B. Henretty, local Soil Conservationist.
