H. S. Barksdale, Chairman of Rappahannock County Agricultural Stabilization Committee, has announced the appointment of James W. Coates of Sperryville, Va. as manager of the local ASC Office at Washington, Va. This position has been vacant since the resignation of M. C. Gore in September.
Mr. Coates left November 5th for Southampton where he will undergo two weeks of training. From there he will go to Patrick Coiinty for two weeks training which will be followed i>y two w^eks training in Fauquier Cohnty. He will assume duties in the Rappahannock office in late December.
