More of our pig producers need to investigate this method of organized marketing. It is obvious that the larger the sale the better the prices. Producer cooperation is a must. Sales preferably should number 1000 1200 head.

Thirteen replies have been received to date on the 1963 Feeder Calf Sale Questionnaire. Ten producers reported expecting a total of 242 more than they consigned this year; two reported a fewer number for a total of 48 less; while one producer indicated he may have 9 more or 1 less.
It will be interesting to see what the 35 remaining producers expect to have for next years calf sale.
