Junes Clark
James Clark, well-known resident of Scrabble, Rappahannock County, died Monday, October 29, at his residence. Son of the late Thomas Clark and Elisa Ann Littleton, his wife, and a native of Rappahannock County, he was 88.
He iB survived by his wife, Mrs. Nellie Haney Clark; one son, Frank Clark Sr. of Rochester, N. Y.; three grandchildren, Frank Clark Jr. of Rochester, N. Y„ James W. Clark of Rock Mills and Lorraine Clark of Rochester, N. Y.; two sisters, Miss Lila Jane Clark of Wood* ville and Miss Maude Estelle Clark of Pittsburgh, Pa.
Funeral services were held Friday, November 2, from Shiloh Baptist Church at Woodville, the Rev. C. H. Sanford officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Howard Butler, Gene Fletcher, Ellis Glasker, Tommy Jackson, Charles Jackson and Thomas Wiggington. f
