Greens Sale Friday

The Rappahannock County Garden Club will hold a sale of Christmas greens and cookies at the Washington Baptist Church Educational Building Friday, December 21 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Many lovely things appropriate to the season will be offered for sale.
Dedicating Altar Vases
On Sunday, December 23, at the 11:00 a.m. service at Trinity Episcopal Church in Washington, two altar vases which have been given in memory of Sallie Cary Oden and George Warren Wood will be dedicated. The three step Calvary style solid brass vases match the cross from Emmanual Church in Sperryville given in memory of Miss Louise O'Bannon's parents. They also match the altar candlesticks which were given in memory of Elizabeth Strother Miller.
