Elect Annual Officers
At a meeting of Rappahannock fox hunters held at the Court House in Washington on December 7th Earl Putnam and Clifton Clarke were elected to the board of directors of the Northern Virginia Fox Hunters Association. Mrs. Joyce DeBergh was elected SecretaryTreasurer of the local group.
Following an explanation of the purposes and plans of the Northern Virginia Fox Hunters Association, which was partially organized at Culpeper on November 30th, every person in attendance joined the organization. Those present were: James A. Dodson, Morrell Magarety, David Evans, C. C. Clark, Richard Burke, Woodrow Coughlin, Jack Bruce, Charles Hitt, Jr., Chester Wayland, Earl Putnam, Shelton Grlmsley, Arthur Miller and W. H. Lyne. As Vice-President of the Northern Virginia organization Mr. Lyne asked those present to contact as many foxhound owners, as well as those interested in foxhunting, to become members. Dues are but $2.00 per year. Checks should be made payable to Northern Virginia Fox Hunters Association and turned over either to Messrs. Clark, Putnam or Lyne.
