^defeated M»r*hall to rie tor* S the lead in District Nine. In a cold gymnasium the shooting was off by both teams as only 8 points were ' scored in the first quarter with the Panthers scoring 6 of the 8.

The visiting Panthers adjusted to the Trojans court - and scored 18 points to lead by 21-6 at the half-way mark.

Early in the third quarter the regulars were replaced by the second team after the Panthers ripped the nets with 19 points in approximately 3 minutes to lead by 40-13.

The second team had trouble adjusting to the game situations, missing easy shots and excessive fouling as the Trojans surged to narrow the gap to 41-30 as the game ended.
