Christmas week-end Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Smith of Fairfax and hrtr. and Mrs. William Litsey, Marcia and David Litsey of Alexandria. Miss Carolyn Gates Turner arrived Wednesday from Lynchburg College to spend the holidays with her mother Mrs. L. J. Turner and John turner who is expected home from the University of Virginia later in the week. George H. Davis , Jr. returned from the University of Virginia on Wednesday to spend the Christmas vacation with his parents. He was able to have the cast removed from his ankle on Tuesday having suffered a broken ankle bone November 20th. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin William and daughter Margey were dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. James Dawson in Opal. E. M. Richards spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Waters and Mrs. Louise Garrett in Arlington and visited his brother William Richards and Mrs. Richards in Alexandria.
