A sample was drawn with a core borer from 10 bales of mixed clover and grass stubble hay, selected at random, which was produced by D. L. Miller, Jr. At first Mr. Miller objected to sampling his hay because he felt the quality was poor. Based on what met the eye, and weather conditions at the time this hay was made, it appeared to be far from the best vour scribe has seen at the Miller farm.
