Ricnara Raymond Robinette of Arlington was fatally Injured in a two vehicle collision at 2:30 a.m., Friday morning a mile and a half east of Washington on Route 211. The accident occurred when a 1957 International truck driven by Archie Allen McGuinn of Upperville and owned by Collis C. Jenkins of Culpeper crashed head-on into a 1956 Dodge station wagon operated by Robinette and owned by Mrs. Katherine Pry Hughes of Centrevllle. The truck crossed into the left lane of the highway at the crest of Almond’s Hill, according to Trooper W. A. Buntin. McGuinn was charged with manslaughter, driving under ,the Influence of alcohol and driving on a revoked license. Injured in the accident were Mary Frances Patnode of Charles Town, W. Va., a passenger in the truck, who .received a possible fractured neck and injured leg, and George Hughes of Centreville, a half brother of Robinette, who sustained head injuries. Robinette and Hughes were enroutetoWlse County to attend the funeral of Robinette’s father. McGuinn received injuries of the left leg.
