Mrs. L. J. Turner and Miss Carolyn Turner returned this week from a visit with Mr. and Mrs. James Pharr in Newport News. Kenney Racer of Haymarket returned home Sunday after spending several weeks with his aunt and uncle Mr. and Mrs. Willie Payne. Fourth of July guests of the Payne's were Mrs. George Payne and Miss Gladys Payne. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Payne attended the Burke reunion at Sperryville and were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Payne at Boston. Mr. Geoffrey Walpole of Virginia Theological Seminary conducted the service Sunday morning at Trinity Episcopal church and will return for next Sunday’s service. Mr. and Mrs. Walpole were luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis. Jr. on thd 'SkyHHe' Drive. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Hall, Mrs. Virginia Kuhn and Philip Kuhn were in Occoquan Sunday to attend the golden anniversary celebration of Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Allen at their home. Thursday evening dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Hall at Rose Hill was Clarence Wagner of Sperryville.
