Thompson Adams
Graveside funeral services were held at 4 p.m., Saturday at Georgetown Cemetery, Broad Run, Va. for John Thompson Adams of Sperryville, who died at his home Thursday, July 4, 1963. He is survived by one daughter, Josephine Hanna Adams and five sisters, Mrs. Anna Lyde Cooper of San Diego, Calif., Mrs, Elizabeth Adams Titter, Brooklyn, New York, Mrs. Hallietyard Bowyer, Silver Spring, Md, Mrs. Dasie Thompson Dougherty of Kensington, Md. and Mrs. Josephine Adams Hutchins, Frostburg, Md. Mr. Adams was a graduate of Virginia Military Institute and a retired dairy farmer.
Charles H. Roberts
Charles H. Roberts, 74, of Washington, Va., died July 1 1963, at the University of Virginia Hospital. A native of Rappahannock where he spent most of his life, he was the son of Jennie Roberts and husband of the late Lucy Lawson Roberts, and made his home with his son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. John Marshall Barbour of Washington. Va.
