THE FOURTH OF JULY DISPLAY of historic maps, documents and books drew the interest of more than a hundred people, many of them visitors passing through our town. Several items loaned for the day caused special comment. Mr. W. C. Campbell’s and Mrs. A. H. Keyser’s collection of tools owned by Master Carpenter Jimmie Powers, who built the Library, as well as many other fine buildings in Washington and vicinity over a hundred years ago, caught the eye of many.
