Franklin D. Goode of Stanley, Va., struck a cow owned by Glen Grogg. There was no personal injury. Damage to Goode’s 63 Buick sedan was estimated at $100 and the cow bought the day before by Grogg for $68 had to be destroyed. Trooper Buntin investigated the accident. Roger Wayne Forrester sustained head injuries when he struck a bank three miles west of Amissvllle on Route 211 Friday evening. Trooper Paul Dicks reported that Forrester, driving a 57 Chevrolet, apparently went to sleep. He was hospitalized overnight in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal, with abrasions of the forehead.
