He is survived by one son, Kedrick Roberts of Richmond and four daughters, Mrs. Ora Barbour of Washington, Va., Mrs. Cora Davis and Miss Christine Roberts of Washington, D. C., and Mrs. Lillie W arrell of Bronx New York, twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Also by four sisters, Mrs. Maria Starks, Mrs. Amanda Fletcher, Mrs. M. M. Dearing and Miss Lucy Roberts, all of Washington, Va. A funeral service was held at the First Baptist Church Wednesday, July 3, conducted by the Rev. R. C. Davis, assisted by the Rev. U. S. Brokenburr and the Rev. Thomas Proctor, with interment in the Washington Odd Fellow’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were John R. Summons, Edward Jordan, Haywood Timbers, George Ficklin, Reuben Aylor and Gaylord Butler. sCastleton

Visiting Col. and Mrs. John! Williams over the long week end were Mrs. Williams’ sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gannon of Westwood, N. J. Mrs. Alice Woodlin of Laurelton, N. J. arrived Monday for a week's visit with Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Martin.

Miss Ellen Gore arrived home on Friday, July ^fr^m the University of Virginia ; School of Nursing for a visit with her parents Mr. and Mr: Richard Gore. On Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Gore honored their daughter with a birthday picnic. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gore, Linda and Debbie of Castleton and Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Gore and three children of Indian Head, Md.

On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gore, Miss Ellen Gore and Rickey Gore attended the Clark-Bennett wedding in Culpeper. The bride is a first cousin of Mrs. Gore.

Mrs. Menefee Ute entertained at a 4th of July picnic. Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Gore and children of Indian Head, Md., Mr. and Mrs. Richard Gore and son, Rickey.
