Plans are now under way to organize a permanent Rappahannock County Unit of the American Cancer Society's Virginia Division, Inc. The Unit will be under the Direction of a Board of Directors and will have a three-fold purpose; 1. To offer residents yearround public and professional education programs on Cancer;
2. To conduct an annual fund raising campaign; 3. To render service to cancer patients. The Rappahannock County Unit will be a part of the American Cancer Society's Virginia Division and will operate, under Division By-Laws which are approved y the National Society.
