Carnival
Set For July 7
An MD Carnival will be held at the Lake Motel on Tueday, July 7th starting at 2 p.m. This is a benefit for the Muscular Distrophy Campaign and is promoted by a Washington, D. C. TV children's program. Locals Chairmen are Kerry Brock and Cil Davis. There will be a fishing contest for adults and children in addition to the usual carnival attractions. A surprise package will be given away at 9 p.m. as the grand finale of the event, For further information con tact one of the chairman.
Hint Hill Bridge Club Meets with Mrs. Bradford
Mrs. M. H. Bradford entertained the Flint Hill Bridge Club Monday evening at her home. Her guests were Mrs. Thomas Eastham, Mrs. Harry Lee Smith, Mrs. O. W. Gilbert, Jr., Mrs. Emory Russel^ Mrs. W. A. Moore, Jr., Mrs. B. J. Wood, Mrs. Joel Jenkins, Mrs. John S. Browning, Mrs. Frank Spalding, Mrs. L. B. Burford and Mrs. Galley W. Smith . Prizes were received by Mrs. Spalding, Mrs. Emory Russell, Mrs. Eastham and Mrs. Browning.
