“Fauquier Farm,* beautiful 531-acre cattle spread located just over ,the Rappahan* nock line in Fauquier County on the hardtop road from Huntly to Hume, has been sold to Ted Kesting, editor of the popular sports magazine Sports A-Field. It adjoins Mr. Kesting’s Beaver Dam Farm of 650 acres, which he purchased several years ago. “Fauquier Farm* was sold by Mrs. Mary L. Moore, widow of John R. Moore, Sr., with 1 the negotiations handled by : Edward A. Harris & Associ- 1 ates of Huntly. The property has long front- , age on the road to Hume and also frontage on the Rappahannock River. Although there is no main residence on it, there is a quaint,- old frame home with a beautiful view of the mountains, and a tenant house. Mrs. Moore resides on the Fodderstack Road near Flint Hill where her sons operate a cattle farm and apple orchards.
Mr. Kesting maintains a home in Pennsylvania but his offices are in New York City. He frequently visits his farm and hopes some day to reside there with his family.
