Miss Becky Kanak of Hopewell was the guest last week of her aunt and uncle Mr. and Mrs. T. Morgan Johnston and family. She was accompanied to her home on Sunday by the Johnston family who were dinner guests of Miss Kanak’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Kanak. Miss Dottle Davis, Miss Kay Johnston and Miss Segar Jones are taking a six week's course in English two nights a week at Madison Extension of the University of Virginia. Sunday dinner guests of Miss Lottie Burton were Mr. and Mrs. George Hay maker of Front Royal and Mrs. Lawrence Orndorff of Clearbrool^ Guests on Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Brock for a lawn supper were Mr. and Mrs C. L. Groover and Mr. and Mrs. Ray T. Cannon and families of Castleton, Mr. and Mrs Jack Long of Front Royal and M. G. Watts.

Guests this week of Mrs. T. C. Lea are her niece Mrs. C. W. King and daughter, June of Lynchburg.
