Mrs. Allen Y. lillard
Mrs. Annie Frances Lillard of Sperryvllle, wife of Allen Yowell Lillard, died Friday, June 26, 1964 at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Nelson Nethers, following a long illness.
Daughter of the late John Henry Lillard and Martha Prints Lillard, and a native of Madison County, she was 77. She was a member of Bethle hem Methodist Church at Nethers. Besides her husband, she is survived by five sons, Guy Lillard of Clermont, Fla., Elmer Lillard of Orlando, Fl% Roy Lillard of Etlan, Thomas Lillard of Silver Spring, Md. and Robert Lillard of Sperry ville; one daughter, Mrs. Net son Nethers of Sperryvllle; nineteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also three brothers, Jud Lillard of Martlnsburg, W, Va., James Lillard of Flint Hill and John Lillard of Etlan. A funeral service was held Sunday, June 28, at 3:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Methodist Church, the Rev. H. W. Longfellow officiating. Interment followed In Etlan Methodist Cemetery. Pallbearers were Frank Hufj Carson Lillard, Beech Guessford, C. K. Estes, Jack Lillard, Dovell Hellems, Charles Masters, Robert Nethers and Jim Ashby. Arrangements were handled by Geest Funeral Parlors.
