With the gay music of the' calliope mixed with the laughter of children and chatter of friends filling the air, Chester Gap opened their annual firemens carnival last night. The festive event will continue through Saturday night. Tonight (Thursday}^ display of fire works will fcTe ;one of the feature events, according to Bradley Williams, president of the fire company, and, many prizes will be awarded each night. Grand prizes of $500, $150 and $50 cash will be awarded at the close of the carnival Saturday night, July 4th. New rides and games have been added to the midway on the mountain to insure good family fun for all who attend,
