From 1959-1961, Dr. Jessiman was Associate Professor In Surgery, Harvard University, Boston, Massachusetts. Since that time, he has served as Associate Clinical Professor in Surgery, University of Virginia Medical School, Charlottesville. Since 1948, Doctor Jessiman has been a member of the Royal Society of Medicine, Eng land; and a Fellow of Royal Col lege of Surgeons, England, since 1954. He was certified by the American Board of Surgeons in 1956 and in 1961 became a Fellow of the Ameri can College of Surgeons. Doctor Jessiman is the author of many published papers. He is married to the former Joan McIntosh of Fauquier County, Virginia. A cordial invitation is extended to all residents of Rappahannock County to attend this meeting. Mrs. James Smith of Sperryville is chairman of the nominating committee for the proposed organization with Mrs. Frances Thornton, Sperryville and Mrs. Roberta Spalding, Flint Hill, completing the committee. On the by-laws committee is Mrs. Eva L. Smith, Flint Hill chairman and Mrs. James M Settle of Flint Hill and Mrs. Francis Leonard, Amissville as members.
