Mr. and Mrs. George Lyon and children of Brentwood, Long Island arrived on June 24 to spend two weeks with Mrs. Lyon’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Brice Biggers. Supper guests Friday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Olney Kennedy were Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Jenkins of Brandy Station, Sgt. and Mrs. Milton Earl Jarrell and children and Sgt. Jarrell’s mother Mrs. Frank Jarrell of Madison and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Minnis of Culpeper and Mr. and Mrs. Waver Kennedy. Edward Dorsey and Edward Spencer of Culpeper, who left June 19 to camp at the Shenandoah Valley Academy near Newmarket, returned home Monday afternoon. Miss Betty Kennedy returned to her work in Washington, D. C. on June 22 after a two weeks’ vacation with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Waver Kennedy.
Mrs. Claude Gaines left Monday evening for Fairfax where she will stay for some time at the home of her son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gaines. Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Gaines and children Linda Belle and Junior spent Thursday through Saturday at the home of Mrs. Gaines’ parents Mr. and Mrs. Henry Campbell at Woodville. Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. McLaughlin and sons Bobby and Stephen of Washington, D. C. are at their farm Mounterran. •The boys have as their guests Woody Atkinson and Rene Soudee, both of Washington. Mrs. Lanell Wilbur and daughter Norma Lee were in Washington, D. C. on Friday. Mrs. Wilbur underwent tests at Walter Reed Hospital. Miss Joyce Jenkins spent the week-end with Miss Linda Jenkins of F.
