On Wednesday, January 27 the Flint Hill Rescue Squad ambulance brought Mrs. Wade H. Massie, HI from the University of Virginia Hospital to her home at Massie’s Corner.

On January £9 the Sperryville Fire Company reported to a fire in an out building at the home of John Walker Jenkins. On Monday they went to a chimney fire at Clifton Clark’s, Woodville. The same afternoon they answered a call to the home of B. Jenkins in Jenkins Hollow. The house was destroyed beforq their arrival. On Sunday the Rappahannock Rescue Squad took P. w. Scudere from his home to the Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D. C. Also on Sunday the Washington Fire Company reported to a chimney fire at the home of Henry Timbers.
