Stanley Settle was a visitor Wednesday of Mrs. Nelson Burner. Mr. and Mrs. Burner were in Washington, D. C. Monday where Mrs. Burner, who underwent surgery recently, had a checkup. Attending the firemen's banquet in Orange last Monday night were Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Hill. Gilbert Lawrence and Mrs. Shirley Pullen. Paul Poling, Braxton JameSj Mrs. Edith Hackley and Mrs. Mary Priest attended the Culpeper firemen’s banquet Thursday night.

Miss Landra Dennis was a guest from Thursday evening until Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Paul J. West and son James West in Richmond. Wendell Latham, a student at VPI spent the weekend with his grandmother, Mrs. A. C. Latham. Friday evening Mrs. W. R. Bowen was a visitor of Mrs. Latham and Wendell.
