The marriage of Miss Agnes Reba James, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norvel James of Viewtown, to John Geer, Jr. took place at the home of the bride on Thursday everting, January 28, 1965. Mr. Geer is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Geer of Charlottesville. The double ring ceremony was performed at nine o’clock by the Rev. Charles Kindred, pastor of Amissville Baptist Church. / The bride was given in marriage by her brother Julian James of Culpeper.Her street length gown was of white embroidered organza over taffeta designed with a fitted bodice and full skirt with unpressed pleats. The neckline and bracelet length sleeves were edged in pearls. The shoulder length veil of imported silk fell from a scalloped crown of pearls and crystals. She carried a bouquet of white rosebuds and lily of the valley.
Miss Marion Click of Woodstock was maid of honor. She wore a gown of pink taffeta and carried a bouquet of white rosebuds. Acting as best man was James Geer of Charlottesville, brother of the bridegroom.
Guests included Mr. and Mrs. John Geer and daughters Linda and Nancy of Charlottesville, Misses Shirley Bunch, Carol Emerson, Linda Hicks, Judy Turner, Janice Click, Mary Taylor, Susie Payne, and Margaret Perkins, all classmates of the bride at Madison College, Ha rrisonburg,
