Moore of Flint Hill, has been selected Outstanding Airman of the Year among men serving on their first enlistment at Tachikawa AB. Japan. Airman Moore was choser for his exemplary conduce, demonstrated initiative' and outstanding duty performance His selection qualified him for forthcoming Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) commandwide competition. He also ha.‘ been selected Tachikawa Airman of the Quarter twice. Airman Moore is a fire protection specialist with a unit which supports the PACAF mission of providing airpower for defense of the U. S. and its allies in the Pacific area. The 23-year-old airman is a graduate of Rappahannock High School, Washington, Va. and has attended Pierce College in Woodland Hills, Calif. He entered the Air Force in September 19bl.
