The Ben Venue, sixth race, is for gentlemen owner-riders over a two and a half mile course. Points for this race go toward the Sejr6yi Corners Shopping Center Bowl which is awarded to the outstanding owner-rider horse combination of the 1965 Point-to-Point Va. Circuit. The seventh race, the Mary D. Slaughter, is an open race over a three-mile course. To Have Banquet
Plans are being completed for the twelfth annual firemen’s banquet in honor of Amissville firemen and guests which will be held February 12 at Amissville firehall, according to Mrs. Edith Hackley, president of the Ladies Auxiliary. Guest speaker for the dinner willr be the Rev. P. C. Helmintoller, pastor of Culpeper Methodist Church. Auxiliary members or anyone wishing to make a ccfntribution to the banquet may contact Mrs. A. CF Latham, 937-3615 or Mrs. Charlie Compton, 937-2593. There will be no regular February meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary.
