Mr. and Mrs. Harold Faulconer and two children of Orange were Saturday overnight guests of Mrs. William Meade Fletcher at Peyton Place. Ray Snead has enrolled at the winter session of Virginia Military Academy. He was accompanied to Lexington on Friday by his father, Judge R. V. Snead. P. W. Scudere was taken to Washington, D. C. on Sunday; and is a patient in the Georgetown University Hospital. Mrs, Scudere accompanied him to the hospital and was an over night guest of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Hicks in Front Royal. On Monday she returned to Washington where she will remain to be nea r her husband. Saturday dinner guests of Judge and Mrs. B. M. Miller were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hstes, Miss Doris Daugherty and Mrs. Wade H. Massie, Jr. Mrs. Wa rren Settle and three children, Sandra, Gary and Andy of Gainesville and Miss Joyce Baldwin of Haymarket were guests Friday of Mr. and Mrs. Ollie F incham. Mrs. Alice Bond left on Monday for her home in Denton, Texas after a visit of several months with her daughter, Mrs. Elmo D. Flynt.
