public at the March meeting of the Board of Supervisors. Inquiries were made into the possible improvement of the Harris Hollow road in the near future. Traffic on that road is heavy at all times and particularly so during the winter because of the location of the Ski Area in Harris Hollow. Mr. Butler said that no immediate improvement is scheduled, but is it included on the highway program for 1967 or 1968. James W. Fletcher spoke to the Board on behalf of the proprietors of Flat Wood Inn and Pine Knot Inn in regard to the midnight closing of dance halls on Saturday night These businesses claim to be hurting since the ordinance for closing at midnight has been enacted, rather than letting them remain open until one or two o’clock. They requested an extension on the hours. This request was tabled for more consideration until a later meeting. Action was taken at the Janu' ary meeting of the Board to have the Extension Service offices moved from the courthouse to the Moffett Building in the courthouse yard. ReContinued
