workers and retail Agency managers from this area, will attend a regional board meet ing in Culpeper on Feb. 16. The session will be held at the Pelham House and will begin at 10 a.m.
Also attending the meeting will be a number of guest young farmers from the area
A total of 48 of these regional meetings will be held by Southern States over a five-state area. The cooperative serves over 221,000 fasmer-members who live in Virginia, West Virginia Maryland, Delaware and Kentucky. D. D. Ball of Barboursville, a member of the Southern 15-man board of directors will preside at the meeting. Ball represents the cooperative’s members in Central Virginia and has been a member of the board since 1954. Board members attending the session will hear a report Ion the cooperative’s operations

|months of the 1964-65 fiscal jyear presented by H. B. Manuel, Manager, Retail Sales of the organization. Following lunch, Manuel will discuss some of the longrange plans the cooperative is shaping to deal with a changing agricultural economy. There will also be a general discussion which will include queS’ tions used in recent survey by the cooperative regarding the buying habits of farmers and their use of services offered by the organization.
