The health mater ial published in nine area school newspapers on health careers, tuberculosis and other respiratory diseases is being sent to the Tuberculosis and Health Association of Northern Virjginia
for local judging. This evaluation will be conducted by :the editor of a county news[paper, a public health nurse, and a director of the area TB ; association. School papers entering the project include-. Fauquier County - Fauquier County High School. Frederick County - James Wood High School. Loudoun County - Loudoun Valley High School. Page County - Luray High School and Page County High School. Shenandoah County - Strasburg High School, Central High School and Stonewall Jackson High School. Warren County - Warren County High School. A good stand of grasses and legumes is over 300 times as effective in saving soil, and 6 times as effective in reducing run-off, as a cleantilled crop on the same kind of land.
