Progress Reported in Childrens’ Home Drive

Miss Marry M. Wood, chairman, announced today that the fund raising campaign for the Children’s Home Society of Virginia was doing nicely and it appears that contributions are about the same as last year. The campaign will close in a few days, therefore Miss Wood is urging everyone to get their contributions to her; the district chairmen and other workers, prior to the closing date of the campaign. She is hopeful that the contributions will amount to more than was contributed last yeas It is indeed important that permanent and established homes be found for the homeless infants of Virginia so that they will have a chance to grow into fine law abiding citizens - not tax users.
