Page Moffett Attends

Scout Tr. Institute

Page Moffett of Boy Scout Troop #64, Washington, Va. attended an Order of the Arrow Training Institute held at Camp Hanover near Richmond, on September 18 and 19. He was accompanied by Leon Waters and Wayne Yowell of Luray.

The purpose of the institute was to train boys to be efficient officers of their Chapter and Lodge of the Order of the Arrow. There were discussion groups on Lodge activities, Order of the Arrow elections and membership. A highlight of the meeting was an address by the National Secretary of the Boy Scouts of America, Mr, Martin Mockford.

At the business meeting Sun. day, plans were 'made for the 1966 Pow-Wow which will be held at Plpsico Scout Reservation near Norfolk in April. More than one hundred boys and men from all sections of the State were present for the institute meeting. It reportedly was of great aid to all who attended.
