Mr. and Mrs. Joel L. Jenkins had as guests last week the latters sisters Mrs. Frank L. Temple and Mrs. William H. Campbell of Washington, D. C. Mrs. Jenkins and her guests were Thursday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Nicholson in Tiger Valley, Washington. Mrs. Jenkins has returned to her employment at Veteran’s Claims Office in Front Royal after a week’s vacation. Mrs. W. E. Pullen has returned to her_home “Cele donia* after spending some time with relatives in Richmond.
Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Corbin and four sons of Annandale spent the weekend with Mrs. Corbin’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Foster. Sunday guests of the Foster’s were Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Dunn and daugh ter of Washington, D. C. and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Foster. Mrs. Mary Cleverley spent from Sunday until Tuesday in Washington, D. C. The M. W. S. C. S. will meet tonight, Thursday, at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. parson Lillard. u Hdbert' L.'Masfeie, Jr. will leave Saturday for East Lansing, Mich, where he will take graduate work at Michi gan State University. Mrs. James B. Grimmer and infant daughter Susan Tate returned home Sunday from the Warren Memorial Hospital. Mr. Grimmer’S mother Mrs. Evangeline W. Grimmer of Portsmough is spending some time in the Grimmer home. P. D. Barham of Portsmouth father of Mrs. Grimmer, remains a patient in the Warren Memorial Hospital.' Mr. and Mrs. John S. Brown ing were weekend guests of Mrs. Browning's brother-inlaw and sister Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Palmore in Tappahan nock. The Flint Hill Home Demon stration Club met Tuesday night at the home of Mrs. Paul Miller. Miss Doris Daugh erty, Home agent, conducted a program on “Kitchen Work Space^"
