Mr. and Mrs. Thomas B, Reid and two children Tommie and Charlene of Bartle? ville, Okla. arrived by jet at Dulles Airport Monday for a ten day’s vacation visit with Mr. Reid’s mother Mrs. C. G. Reid at Rose Cottage. Mr. Reid has recently returned from a three month’s business trip to Venzuela. Judge and Mrs. Rayner V. Snead and children Bill and Mary Lib returned this week from a visit of several days to New York, where they attended the World’s Fair, and in Atlantic City. Mrs. William A. Curtis of Clinton, Md. was the weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Racer. Miss Carolyn Gates Turner of Richmond and Miss Becky Jones of Louisa spent the week-end at their homes. Edward Clopton of Baltimore was an over-night guest Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones at Delamore and visited other friends in town. Miss Frances Wood spent the weekend at the home of her mother Mrs. F. D. Wood at Sunnyside and returned Sun day to her school in Staunton.
