H> Mrs. Alice Dorsey Mrs. George W. Tidier is spending several days visiting her daughters, Mrs. Sol Schneider of Silver Spring, Md. and Mrs. Robert Scott in Alex andria. Mr. and Mrs. Stewart H. Butler of Havenhill spent the weekend in Washington, D. C. as the guest of Mrs. H. N. Old. On Saturday afternoon they attended the opening of the Copley Exhibition at the National Gallery. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Settle returned home Sunday after spending a week touring Kentucky, Tennessee and West Vir ginia. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Harry Snowden of Goodlettsville, Tenn., formerly of Anchorage, Alaska. They also visited Mrs. Settle’s father W.
nassas, and Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Kidwell of Estes. Ray Boggs is spending some time at his home here. Mrs. Sarah Latham and daughter, Susan,spent Sunday in Herndon, and with Mrs. Latham’s mother, Mrs. C. C. Cockerill, were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. John D. Peck and son, Dwight. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cockerill and Mr. and Mrs. James W. Cockerill and their families.
