I was a little *shook-up" when I was told that Mrs: J. H. Johnson of Woodville, who just passed her 97th birthday and whose picture appeared in the February 24th issue of this paper, didn’t think her picture was good. I had thought it a reasonably good picture, so inquired why she did not like it. Well, she said it makes me look old....
No doubt they were having a hot time in the old town that night ... that is the night Meadowbrook Hall burned. When the fire alarm blew in Flint Hill, Paul Miller grabbed his coat as he left his home and attempted to struggle into it as he went down the sidewalk. He was having a most difficult time until he realized the garment still had the coathanger in it.
