Among those in town Saturday to attend the funeral of Mrs. P. W. Scudere were Mr. and Mrs. Ira Beatty, Mr. and Mrs. Luther Partlow, Mr. and Mrs. George Ross, Mrs. Mary Partlow, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cannon and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Williams, Sr., all of Arlington, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Parker of Culpeper, William Slayden, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Hicks and Mrs. Dan Price of Front Royal. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Jenkins and family of Suffolk spent the week-end with relatives in the county. Mrs. T. W. S. Davis and son Kirkland Davis of Warrenton were gue6ts Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. George H. Davis jr., and accompanied them to the Point-to-Point races. Mrs. Virgil Updike and Mrs. A. M. Verner spent Thursday in Charlottesville. Miss Carolyn Gates Turner of Richmond spent the weekend with her mother Mrs. L. J. Turner.
