Commission To Draft Hunt Seasons April 1
The Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries will meet in Richmond beginning at 9:30 a.m. April 1 for the purpose of drafting seasons and limits for big game furbearers, and small game beginning in the fall df 1966. Seasons on migratory game birds and waterfowl will not be considered at this time.
a nomination may see a copy of the rules and pick up a nomination form at the Rappahannock Extension Agent’s office. The organization request that all nominations be in by March 15th. Both crossbred steers and heifers will be accepted along with British breed of beef cattle. Herds consigning heifers may qualify under the Market Cattle Testing program or the Annual Herd Blood Test.
Dr. Wake has advised he will vaccinate the heifers requested under our March program a week from today (March 17th). Should you have sent us a request and do not receive a vaccination schedule call the office, 675-3619.
