A Star is Born . . . that is questionable, however about 20 seniors assembled in the auditorium of RCHS Tuesday night for an initial attempt at acting. That’s right, it's time again for preparations for the annual senior play. The drama selected this year is *ThP Saturday Evening Ghost", a three-act comedy. This play is an adaptation of a well known play, “The Canterville Ghost" written by Oscar Wilde. Sponsoring and directing the production are Mrs. Myra Wolfe and Mrs. Louise Marshall.
And while the seniors are trying out for suitable roles, the juniors have other things on their minds. It’s time already to make plans for the Junior-Senior Prom, an annual spring activity here. There are decorations, music, refreshments and a host of other things to make arrangements for time passes so qujckly. It will be May 14th the tentative date set for the prom before we know it.
Though it does not occupy all his thoughts, one thing a young man's fancy turns to in spring is baseball, and practice at RCHS has begun. Under the skillful coaching of Mr. Ballard and Mr. Layman we’re looking forward to an interesting season.
