She will go from there to visit another sis ter Mrs. Calvin Shives and her son Robert Elkins in Lancaster, Pa. Miss Debra Ann Racer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Racer of Slate Mills celebrated her ninth birthday on Saturday evening February 19, when her parents entertained in her honor. Those attending the birthday party were her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Conner Jenkins and Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Ramey of Slate Mills. Also Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins and daughter Peggy of Fairfax, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Atkins, son Roger and daughter Beverly of Sperryville, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Atkins, Jr. of Stanley, Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Dodson and daughter Cheryl and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jenkins and son Gregg and -daughter Michelle, all of Slate Mills. _
