Lester I., Hawkins of Alexandria died Sunday, March 6, ' 1966 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Alexandria. He was born October 31 1918 at *Thermopylae”, near Woodville, son of the late Charles W. Hawkins and the late Jane H. Hawkins. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elsie Hawkins, of Alexandria a brother, George W. Hawkins of Sperryville; two sisters Mrs. Louise Bayne of Deland, Fla. and Mrs. Edna Wayland of Washington, Va. He was a member of Myron M. Parker Lodge #27, F.A, A.M. A funeral service was held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home, Alexandria, with committal rites at 3 p.m. in Fair view Cemetery, Culpteper.
